Seminary Conquest Continues

Okay, I'm starting to get really creeped out. Where's Herman Otten? Christian Nonsense isn't saying anything at all about what's happening at Fort Wayne. As you can see from this recent photo of the new campus welcome sign, the Aliens are now in full possession of CTS. They're so bold as to put up disturbing new signs (not counting the "white parking" signs that must have been sponsored by the Indiana Klan). I've heard they've even gone so far as to name one of the dorms after the blond dame on Friends.

In fact, I think Herman may be part of the plot. Obviously, Wacky Jack Cascione hails from some other rock from the sun - if not from another galaxy. CTS is in a full-blown close encounter, and all Hermes publishes is Jack's claim that the Real Presence is only confected when the Voter Supremacist Assembly is convened and proclaiming the Word of Robert's Rules. I used to think Jack was just retarded, but now it has become clear - he's Chewbacca with all facial hair removed (Freddie Mercury mustache excepted).

My theory is the Scientologists have had their eye on CTS for some time, hoping to establish a seminary of their own. The Star-Trekky campus obviously attracted the attention of the L. Ron Hubbard Extraterrestrial crowd, and rather than have Tom Cruise simply buy the place, they're taking it over one brick at a time. From the way it looks, the coup is all but over. We should have been suspicious when they first brought out those Epiphany vestments. Time to read Diuretics, boys.

Wenthe backing Ablaze!(tm)? Rast cheering on the Insta-Pastor program? Weinrich mysteriously sent to Siberia? Strange disappearances of the likes of Scott Klemsz, John Klinger, and Latif Gaba? Broads preaching on campus? The Society of the Holy Trainwreck being welcomed like a donation to Deano's Fantasy Library, Bookstore, and Donor Schmoozing Lounge. I can't wait to see what the Aliens will do next! Salvation Navy gals in the Kantorei? LSB 727 sung at the Good Shepherd Institute? Setting Four used at Kramer? Walt Meyer teaching Romans? Fritz Eckardt offered a professorship? Deaconess students getting internships at Showgirls VIII? Okay, now I'm getting ridiculous with the last two...

Anyway, keep those pictures coming from "Seminearth," men. Be careful behind enemy lines. If you get captured, remember, only give your name, synodical status, and Concordia Plan number.

  1. What's this "broads preachin on campus"?

    Also,
Do you happen to know who will replace Wenthe as his powers subside?

    Larry or Artie?

  2. The Society of the Holy Trainwreck was invited to CTS for their annual retreat. A priestess was on deck to preach at the chapel. Alien-Wenthe thought better of it, and had them move the service out of the way to the auditorium. They also had an LCMS/ELCA Mass - which I'm told was in the chapel.

Afterward, Alien-Wenthe sent out a glowing thanks to the staff for welcoming the Trainwreckers.

We gotta rescue Wenthe from the Star Ship! When he gets back in charge, heads will roll!

I think Alien-Artie will get the throne. Alien-Rast is climbing another ladder. Inside sources say the signal for the all-out alien invasion will be a guitar Mass in Kramer.

  3. I don't know what's planned for GSI, but certainly hymn choices have become....... interesting.

  5. Setting Four? The Looney Tunes Mass?

Next thing you know, the Kantorei will have kazoos and Jew harps. Maybe that's why Dick Rasch had a coronary.

Put a fork in Fort Wayne. It is now officially FUBAR.
